Its objective is to create conditions for such education, research and counselling which would ensure the dissemination of knowledge necessary for the development of agriculture and related branches as well as for rural development in Slovakia, with a view of the country's participation in the international community.
Faculty of Biotechnology and Food Sciences
Faculty was established in 2002. Its aim is to educate highly qualified professionals able to apply the latest information technology in the areas of biology, chemistry, technology and economic sciences, oriented in modern procedures of production, evaluation and processing of foods as well as specific biotechnology products.
Faculty of Economics and Management
Faculty provides students with theory and practical skills necessary for economics and management jobs in agricultural and food industry areas, for jobs in business and financial institutions, in public administration institutions, as well as in other economic areas.
Faculty of European Studies and Regional Development
Faculty is the newest one at the Slovak University of Agriculture in Nitra and was approved by the Accreditation Committee of the Slovak Government in December 2003. The profile of the graduates is formed for preparation of the specialists for European integration process of the Slovak Republic and its regional, social - economic and environmental development. The study programs in bachelor's and master's level of the faculty are compatible with European standards and ECTS.
Horticulture and Landscape Engineering Faculty
Faculty is professionally aimed at the education of students in the areas of horticulture, garden and landscape architecture, landscape engineering, and sustainable development.
Faculty of Engineering
